General Auction Rules
1. LCC Foundation and Alumni Association (sponsors) have endeavored to
correctly catalog and describe the items and packages to be auctioned. The items
and packages are sold "as is" and the sponsors neither warrant nor represent, and
shall in no event be responsible for the correctness of description, genuineness,
authorship, provenance, or condition of items or packages. No statement contained
in the catalog or made orally at the sale or elsewhere shall be deemed to be such a
warranty, representation, or assumption of liability.
2. The Auction Director is Lindi Forbes.
3. Auction items and packages not removed the night of the auction will be stored at
the buyer's risk. Shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer.
4. Some auction items and packages may have restrictions and instructions. Adherence
to restrictions and instructions are the responsibility of the buyer.
5. Payment may be made after an item is purchased or items may be accumulated
throughout the evening and paid for at final check out.
6. Payment may be made with cash, check, Visa, or MasterCard at the check-out table.
A charge account may be set up with approval of the Auction Director. Receipts will
be given for all purchases.
7. Please make checks payable to LCC Foundation.
8. All sales are final and there will be no exchanges or refunds.
9. All purchased items shall be removed from the building the evening of the auction
unless other arrangements are approved by the Auction Director.
10. For certificate items, successful bidders may pick up their certificates at the
check-out table.
11. Unless otherwise specified all items and services must be used by
December 31, 2010.
12. All statements of value are furnished by the contributors.
13. In accordance with the IRS Code, the amount a buyer pays in excess of the stated
value is considered to be a charitable contribution.
14. The value of the evening’s entertainment and food is equal to the price of
admission.
15. Please carefully check envelopes containing gift certificates before leaving and
report any discrepancies to the Auction Director.

Silent
Auction Rules
Times are approximate
1. The Silent Auction begins at 6:30 p.m. Section 1 of the Silent Auction ends at
7:15, Section 2 ends at 8:00, Section 3 ends at 8:45.
2. A bid sheet is displayed with each item. To bid, write your bid number on the
line next to your bid amount.
3. The person whose bid number appears opposite the highest bid at the time
the Silent Auction closes purchases the item.
4. Winning bidders will be posted as each section closes. Winning bidders not
present will be notified and may pick up and pay for their items at the LCC
Foundation office, 200 S. 14th Street, Parsons, room M201.
5. The auction director will have final authority on all silent auction sales.

Auction Rules
Times approximate
1. The Live Auction begins at 7:30 p.m. and continues until all items
are sold.
2. The clerk will record the successful bidders number, the item
number, and a description of the item.
3. The Auctioneer will have final authority on all Live Auction sales.
4. The Auctioneer is Richard Byrd.
Cash Drawing
Times approximate
1. Auction admission tickets will be used in the drawings for cash.
2. A drawing for $100 will be at 7:30 p.m., a drawing for $200 will be
at 8:00 p.m., and a drawing for $300 will be at 8:45 p.m.
3. The holder of a winning ticket must be present to win.
4. Winners will be paid cash at the time of the drawing.
