FAQ’S ABOUT THE TRIP It seems expensive, can I get a discount? The trip is reasonably expensive, because you’re getting a huge amount. Flights to Cuba on Virgin are very busy, and relatively expensive. We’re staying in good hotels, including NH Parque Centrale, one of the best in Cuba. Other than 4 nights in Havana, all your dinners are included, and you have 9 nights all-inclusive including all drinks . Then there’s all the teaching, the models, the locations to pay, and the cost of transporting you to and from each place we go to. Have you done this before? Yes, we ran this trip in October 2008, and Jonathan has also recently visited Cuba in March 2009 to research for this trip. What sort of people come? Last time, we had a real mix of people. Men and women. Ages range from 21 to 72. Experience from virtually nil to professional. Gay and straight. Black and white. And most of the time everyone got along just fine. Do I have to attend all of those sessions? NO. It’s completely up to you which sessions you attend, and which you don’t. If you want to lie on the beach, that’s fine. If you want to dip in and dip out, that’s fine too. It’s your trip, so you decide how you want to use your time. What if I want to do something different? If you want to do something different, we’ll help if we can. If you’d like to do a private shoot with a model, we can help by organising the model and the location, but you will have to pay for both, as well as your transport to and from the shoot. What’s there to do at night in Havana? There are some great bars, some of which are touristy and some of which are more geared at locals. We can recommend places to go. Is Cuba safe? Cuba is much safer than the UK, and the safest country in the Caribbean. There are police absolutely everywhere in central Havana. We do recommend, however, that you take sensible precautions – we’ll give you more information during Welcome meetings in each location. What about the food? Cuban food is not particularly wonderful, but we have checked out the catering in each hotel and it’s OK. Again, we’ll recommend food to stick to, and food to avoid, during Welcome Meetings PRICING AND BOOKING Per Photographer £2,299 based on two sharing Single Supplement: £99 Non Photographers £1,999, when sharing with a photographer 7 day trip Pricing on request Bookings and General Enquiries: To book, contact Alexandra Orsavova at The Holiday Place.
