- ‘Develop a high quality, clean, green, and pleasant environment’ revised to focus more on climate change and sustainability issues - ‘Revitalise our district, town centres and neighbourhoods’ identified as a core priority contributing to all aspects of the district’s performance and improvement impacting upon all other priority areas.
• Update of Corporate Plan document now required in light of agreed changes

- Commence Corporate Plan & Annual Performance Report draft - Identify key challenges, achievements during 2008/09 and planned activity for 2009/10 in liaison with relevant Council officers – coordinated by Business Transformation - Financial summary to be compiled Financial Service - Welcome and Introduction written by Executive Mayor and MD - Examples of Corporate Plans from ‘Excellent’ local authorities to be used as a guide for content - Design work to be commissioned – coordinated by Marketing and Communications

• May 12th 2009
- End of Year Performance Reporting - End of year outturns for all Corporate Plan key success measures and the full set of National Indicators will be reported to CMT. This will be followed by a meeting of the Performance Management Working Group - Draft Corporate Plan and Annual Performance Report to be updated to include all relevant performance information from 2008/09 – coordinated by Business Transformation

- Draft content and design of new Corporate Plan & Annual Performance Report to be circulated to each member of CMT for comment
• May 21st 2009
- Presentation of the Corporate Plan & Annual Performance Report 2009/19 draft document to Select Commission 3 - Comments to be provided Select Commission 3 prior to Council approval of document

- Final draft of Corporate Plan & Annual Performance Report 2009/19 to be considered for approval by Full Council
• By end of June 2009
- Publish approved final draft of Corporate Plan & Annual Performance Report 2009/19 - Corporate Plan & Annual Performance Report 2009/19 available on MDC website and promote document – a small number of the plan will be printed and circulated to partner organisations
