Writing to a Prompt

Teacher Page Objective: The learner will practice various styles of prewriting to a prompt. Activity: The slides review styles of prewritng and give students practice using prewriting techniques including-webs, pictures, listing, and the like. Teacher Page Procedure: 1. Examples: Prompt: The starting idea for a story Tell about your dream vacation. What do you think life would be like on the Moon? These tests are graded based on-1. How well the story is told 2. Correct spelling, punctuation, and word use 3. How well the writer is able to respond to the prompt When you are writing to a prompt read the prompt very carefully.
