					Case Manager

Purpose of this position:
To deliver individually tailored job seeker employment services which result in the achievement
of sustainable employment.

Selection Criteria
   Demonstrated understanding of Case Management
   Knowledge of the local labour market and industry and labour market programs
   Good communication skills including the ability to deal with disadvantaged jobs seekers
    and stakeholders at all levels
   Ability to maintain electronic and hard copy records
   Intermediate computer skills including use of Microsoft Office applications
   Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads
   Ability to work within a team environment
   Experience in delivering results through meeting and achieving targets, KPI’s and goals.
   Demonstrated ability to undertake self-directed learning
   Certificate IV or higher in Employment Services or willingness to obtain

Mission and Primary Purpose Of The Position

Mission – To engage with our job seekers and promote their active participation in the
community by addressing social barriers, developing workplace skills and assisting them into
sustainable employment.

Purpose of position –To deliver individually tailored job seeker employment services which
result in the achievement of sustainable employment.

Key Challenges and Critical Success Factors
   Case Manage a diverse range of job seekers
   Actively participate in the team’s delivery of stream services under the ESC 2009-2012
    Contract including initial interviews, skills assessments, contact regime, stream service
    review, participation reporting, intensive support activities and work experience to strive to
    achieve and maintain a five start rating.
   Provide professional services to Stream 3 and 4 job seekers.
   Deliver individually tailored job seeker services which address pre-employment and
    employment activities
   Provide job seekers with relevant information including local labour market and industry
   Provide job seekers with job search
   Accurately record and manage information
   Ensure compliance with contract and program procedures by maintaining detailed,
    accurate and timely notes, records and documentation.
   Manage records in accordance with DEEWR’s guidelines and InnerSkills records
    management instructions contained in InnerSkills Privacy and Confidentiality Policies and

                      Ensure Post Placement support is
                       conducted in accordance with InnerSkills
                       Post Placement Support policy and all
                       documentary evidence is acquired for
                       outcome claims
                      Liaise with local Centrelink Offices and
                       Job Capacity Providers to facilitate
                       positive and effective relationships
                      Maintain job seeker confidentiality and
                       privacy according to DEEWR guidelines
                       and InnerSkills policies and procedures
