                James L. Vkick, Jr., and t h e minutes of meeting held Nov.
                29, 1932; and a l s o t h e tv:o e x e c u t i v e committee meetings h e l d

                December 1 5 t n , 1952 and March 3 r d , 1933 were r e a d and ap-
                proved. M r . Lick s t a t e d t h a t t h e purpose of t h i s meeting
                bias t o d i s c u s s t h e r e p o r t of t h e Law School Committee and
                t o g i v e c o n s i d e r a t i o n t o t h e reopening of t h e Law School.
      I1        Report o f Law School Committee.
                           M r . C . S . Robinson, chairman of t h e committee, r e p o r t e d
                f o r t h e committee -- Messrs. A r g e t s i n g e r , Maag, C o l l i n s ,
                F r i e d e r and Robinson. D i f f e r e n t phases of t h e problem which
                t h e committee vvere t o c o n s i d e r had been a s s i g n e d t o each
                member of t h e committee. The f o l l o w i n g i s a complete r e p o r t              I
                of t h e Law School Committee.

           Moved by M r . Bennett, seconded by air. A r g e t s i n g e r , t h a t
t h e r e p o r t of t h e committee be ado2ted. The chairman t h e n c a l l e d
f o r remarks and each member of t h e committee e x p r e s s e d h i s p o i n t
o f view. They were a l l i n f a v o r of opening t h e Law School ~ i t h
t h e changes a s suggested i n t h e i r r e p o r t . S e v e r a l members o f t h e
committee had p r e v i o u s t o ti-iis s t u d y been opposed t o t h e reopening
of t h e Law School; b u t a r e nov. i n f a v o r of opening same. Motion
unanimously c a r r i e d .
          I t was recommended by t h e committee t h a t t h e Chief Executive
o f t h e School be k n o w a s t h e P r e s i d s n t .
            M r . Bennett s t a t e d t h a t a committee from t h e Nev: York o f f i c e
o f t h e Young Men's C h r i s t i a n A s s o c i a t i o n had been asked t o make
a survey viith t h e hope t h a t they could make recommendations f o r t h e
p r o p e r r e l a t i o n s h i p s between t h e school and t h e o t h e r branches of
t h e proper r e l a t i o n s h i p s betv;een t h e s c h o o l and t h e o t h e r branches
o f t h e "Y".           He p r e f e r r e d , t h e r e f o r e , t h a t t h e q u e s t i o n a s t o t h e
t i t l e o f t h e Chief Executive o f f i c e r of t h e school, a s " . e l l a s
a l l o t h e r q u e s t i o n s p e r t a i n i n g t o t h e r e l a t i o n s h i p s o f t h e branches,
be l e f t a s t h e y a r e a t t h e p r e s e n t time u n t i l a f t e r t h i s committee
had had a n o p p o r t u n i t y t o make t h e i r survey.
        On motion of D r . Hamaker, seconded by D r . Eunn, i t was
moved t h a t t h i s recommendation be t a b l e d . Motion unanimously
carried.

           Report o f E x t r a C u r r i c u l & r Committee.
                      Due t o t h e l e n g t h of time which t h e meeting had a l r e a d y
           t a k e n D r . Bunn p r e f e r r e d n o t t o make a r e p o r t o f t h e E x t r a
           C u r r i c u l a r Committee f i n d i n g s .
IV         S c i e n c e Report.

                       M. J o n e s made a b r i e f r e p o r t s t a t i n g t h a t t h e s c h o o l
           i n t e n d e d t o h o l d an open house on May 5 t h , a t which time
           s e n i o r s from t h e c i t y h i g h s c h o o l s a s w e l l a s t h e townspeople
           were i n v i t e d t o a t t e n d a s c i e n c e e x h i b i t . He s t a t e d t h a t
           t h i s e x h i b i t would n e c e s s i t a t e t h e use of some borrowed
           equipment f o r l a b o r a t o r y experiments. D r . Hammaker s t a t e d
           That he d i d n o t f e e l t h a t i t would be proper t o u s e borrow-
           ed equipment f o r t h e s e d e m o n s t r a t i o n s . I t was s t a t e d by
           M r . Jones t h a t t h i s equipment viould a l l be p r o p e r l y l a b l e d ,
           e x p l a i n i n g t h a t i t had been borrovted by t h e College f o r
           d e m o n s t r a t i o n purposes.
           It was moved and seconded that the Executive Com-
     mittee should check the exhibit so as to make sure that
     the school had the exhibits properly marked. Motion
     unanimously carried.
     Pro~osedMeeting of the Board and Faculty.
           It was proposed by Mr. Jones that a joint meeting
     of the faculty and Board be held this Spring for the
     purpose of the two groups becoming better acquainted.
     The suggestion met with favor.
VI   Reoort of meeting of the 0hio'~ollege Association held
     at Columbus, Ohio.
           Mr. Jones made a brief report stating that Mr. Stradley,
     one of the Examining Committee of the.Ohio College Assoc-
     iation, had agreed to come to Youngstown next year to in-
     spect Youngstown College. It will be very helpful to the
     standing of our College if we are able to qualify for
     membership.

     Meeting adjourned.
