					About the Theme:
The theme this year, “ You’re the One That I Want”, centers on God’s desire
for all people to be his children. Campers will learn about people in the
Bible that no one else wanted, but God did. They will also learn how
they can be part of God’s plan by sharing His love with others and
responding in joyful worship to God. Bible studies, campfire
devotions, skits, music, and activities will be based on that
theme.

“You did not chose me, but I
choose you” John 15:16

                                                   From the Director:
The Lutheran Camp on Petit Jean offers a safe and comfortable
environment for your child to have an unforgettable camp experience.
Our summer staff members are highly qualified Christian young people. The
counselors are college-age, and many of them are seeking full time careers in the
church or other ministry. They attend two weeks of staff training and are all certified in
First Aid and CPR. It is a privilege for me to have your children at the Lutheran Camp. I
take this responsibility very seriously. I want to make sure your child is safe while having a
good time and ultimately experiencing the love of Christ.
