Atlanta and Miami Offices Form Single Unit
(Atlanta, GA and Miramar, FL) – 20 April 2009 -- Lockton has created a single Lockton Southeast group which combines the insurance brokerage and consulting operations of its suburban Miami and Atlanta, GA offices. Lockton is the world’ largest privately held s insurance broker. The Lockton Southeast operation provides clients access to expertise in executive and financial risks, property, complex risk management, employee benefit consulting, and retirement services. Lockton Southeast serves a wide array of commercial clients with specialties in healthcare, private equity, agriculture, real estate, foodservice, and Fortune 1000 enterprises. Doug Hutcherson will lead the executive team at Lockton Southeast as President. Stan Shaffer has been named Chief Operating Officer. Other senior executives at Lockton Southeast are Executive Vice Presidents Neil Metzheiser, Philip Holley, Wayne Soud and Sean Lyons. “ This expands the depth of talent and expertise clients can access locally,”said Hutcherson. “ While the economic environment presents challenges, Lockton Southeast is positioned for continued growth in both commercial insurance and employee benefits.” Lockton Southeast includes a combined staff of 70 in offices at 3601 S.W. 160th Avenue in Miramar, Florida and in Buckhead in the Terminus Building at 3280 Peachtree Road NE in Atlanta.
