Building a Mentoring Partnership
The Command introduced an IT tool called “Open Mentoring” to facilitate building and
supporting mentoring partnerships.

                                                           the mentee)
                                                       ·   Mentee invites mentor into
                                                           partnership
                                                       ·   Mentor accept or decline
                                                       ·   Assist with development of a
                                                           mentoring action plan

To access the Open Mentoring tool, follow these steps below to
create a mentee-mentor application:

   1. Go to www.3creekmentoring.com/NAVSEA (highlight address,
      right click and select “Open Hyperlink”)
   2. Click the User Login link and select New User
   3. Enter your profile information
   4. Insert group code in Group Code field:
            Mentees: 920551
            Mentors: 565168
   5. Click Submit at the bottom of the screen
