Great Job to the Fish Fry Crews!
This Lent we received many compliments regarding the quick service and the good food. This says a lot about you workers and crew chiefs. Normally wait times increase significantly during Lent because of the large volume of dinners. But this year the dining room staff, kitchen staff, and fry crews pretty much stayed in sync. Trays left the kitchen nearly as fast as orders came in and fish came in from the fryers just as things were running out. It takes great teamwork to keep things running as smoothly as they did. Early indications are that this year's Lenten fish fry sales were slightly up over last year. It comes as a bit of a surprise because we didn't have a record-breaking night. Instead we had fairly consistent week-to-week sales. Guess the good food and quick service kept our customers coming back for more. Our sincere thanks to the many members and families for a job well done. And we thank the families who supported us financially by eating at our hall. We know you have many eating options and we are grateful you chose us! Thanks again everyone! Fish Fry Co-Chairmen. P.S. We can always use more help in the kitchen, dining room and fry shack. Contact Brs. Jack Gabler or Jerry Kapp to learn more. .
Mark your envelope "Attention Steak Fry". Reservations are required and need to be received by 11 May. The evening will begin with Cocktails from 5:00 to 6:00 PM. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM. There will be a cash bar. Attention all Fourth Degree Knights with Regalia are requested to participate at the St. Boniface Cemetery 9 am Mass on Memorial Day. Tom Berry, FN
