Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate Series

The Six Sigma Black Belt Certificate series consists of thirteen additional
classroom sessions including a one-day project reporting session once
completing the Green Belt series or its equivalent.

The Black Belt series is open to anyone who has earned their Green Belt
Certificate at PSU or the equivalent and is interested in adding to their Six
Sigma skills to increase the ability to contribute to the continuous improvement
of an organization’s effectiveness working independently, leading project
teams and coaching others in the effective application of Six Sigma methods.

At the completion of the Black Belt classes, participants will have the basic and
advanced Six Sigma skills to make them one of their organizations most valued
associates. Participants aspiring to earn a Black Belt certificate complete a
project that they will design to improve the effectiveness --increased
revenues, profits, productivity or quality -- of processes in their place of work.

statistically designed experiments for process design modeling and trouble
shooting

Topics
     • Review of 2-level full factorial experiments
     • The need for fractional designs and risks and benefits of fractional

           interaction and contour plots.
     • Designing studies when initiating the study with RSM designs.
     • Reaching true optimization with following RSM designs following the
