General Information:
• At Fashion at Artscape, we will feature scheduled fashion shows throughout the
festival weekend. This is a fantastic opportunity to display your work and get the crowd
excited about fashion. The Fashion at Artscape committee will review each submission
and notify you of acceptance.
• We will provide the 50 ft. runway and overhead canopy. Fashion show participants
are responsible for providing their own music. If accepted into Artscape’s fashion
shows, please bring your CD with you on your scheduled fashion show check in time.
There will also be an indoor venue designated as a changing area for your models, hair
styling, and make-up. An outdoor tent will be located behind the runway for quick
changes, staging area, etc. You must also be responsible for transporting the
clothing/items for your show to the dressing areas the morning of your show. If you are
an exhibitor at Artscape, please note, Artscape will not be able to provide you with
someone to watch your booth while you are away from your booth area for your show;
this is your responsibility to provide yourself with an assistant.
• Each show will be approximately 15 minutes. We encourage you to secure your own
models for the fashion shows. More information about the company that can provide
volunteer models, hair stylists and make-up artists will be available mid-January
• Please keep in mind that Artscape will work to the best of their ability to provide you
with all staff (models, makeup artists, hair stylists) as needed, however these are
requests and we encourage you to secure as much of the following on your own as
possible. More information and contact information will be available mid-January.
• PLEASE NOTE: Fashion at Artscape exhibitors and fashion show participants
are two different components. Most fashion shows are hosted by Fashion at
Artscape exhibitors, although this is not a requirement. We strongly encourage you to
apply as a Fashion at Artscape exhibitor in addition to being a fashion show participant.
