Life Education Bus. We are fortunate this year to be able to book The Life Education Bus to
visit our school for two days, Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th May. The bus is a mobile classroom
specially designed to focus on health education. Each class will spend one session in the mobile
classroom learning about staying healthy and making informed choices. We have arranged for
a Parent session on Tuesday 19th between 8:45 and 9:00 –so please do drop in after taking
your children to school. A special note of thanks should go to the Friends of the school who
are paying 50% of the cost of this booking to ensure that all children have the opportunity to
visit this fascinating mobile classroom.
Clothes for a cause Thankyou to all parents and pupils who
supported the Clothes for a Cause appeal. As a school we
have raised £164 and provided valuable resources for people
in developing countries giving your children a greater
understanding of their role in the global community.

Please can I remind parents to clearly label all children’s uniform and bags. In KS 2 there
have been a number of occasions recently when a PE kit has been left in the playground and
we have been unable to identify the owner as no items were labeled. In KS 1 pupils have
mistaken coats and clothes have been lost. Please help us ensure that this does not continue
to happen by talking with your child about their responsibility to look after their own clothes
when they come to school, come straight back into school if your child appears with an item
of clothes that is not theirs an above all labeling all belongings clearly.
We have a huge amount of lost property in both KS1 and KS2. Please check for any lost items
by Friday 22nd May. Anything left after this date will be disposed of.
