Letter to residents - alley resurfacing

Dear North Village Residents:

This letter is to notify you that the Celebration CDD will begin the long awaited repaving of the
alleys within North Village starting the week of May 11, 2009. Work will start North of
Celebration Blvd, which includes the alleys behind Grace Avenue, Reserve Place, Longview
Avenue and Grinnell Place and will proceed through the rest of North Village.

The first phase of the work will be the milling (removal of the existing asphalt). During this
phase your alley may be closed for up to two days. Some dust can also be expected during this
process. During the work access to your driveway will be restricted. It is strongly recommended
that you move your vehicle to the street parking in front of your home. After the milling of each
alley is complete the alley will be reopened, and access to the alley will be available until phase II
of the work begins which is the laying of the asphalt. During this phase the alleys may be closed
for up to two days as well.

A tentative schedule will be provided on the CDD website www.celebrationcdd.org before work
begins, although this schedule will change depending on product availability, production and
weather. However, notification via door hangers and signs at the entrance to each alley will be
provided at least 48 hours prior to the closing of your alley.

The following are some things you can expect during this work effort.

    •   Alley closures
    •   Sidewalk and crosswalk closures
    •   Dust
    •   Intermittent irrigation water availability
    •   Tracking within 48 hours of asphalt being laid
    •   Large pieces of equipment and trucks using roadways and alleys
    •   Possible trash pick up schedule changes. Notification will be given prior to any
        changes.
    •   Daily work schedule 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. – Monday thru Friday
