                                    New Hubert H. Humphrey Terminal Opens
                            T    he new $73 million dollar Hubert H. Humphrey terminal opened May 2, 2001.

                             The two-story terminal, designated as the home for Twin-Cities-based Sun Country Airlines has
                             an expanded number of airline gates, several eating facilities, and retail shops. The old HHH
                             terminal will be torn down to make way for a parking ramp that will serve HHH travelers and
                             employees and be used as remote parking for the main terminal customers.

ISTC has a history at the University of Minnesota dating back to 1967. The Center will be relaunched
in the Fall of 2001 as the International Service and Travel Center and will be undergoing a
face-lift this summer to improve their location in Blegen Hall. The Center currently maintains a
resource library of over 700 travel and general resource books and guides to assist everyone in the
University community in the appropriate preparation for international travel. ISTC also manages a
nationally recognized web site at http://www.istc.umn.edu that is linked to over 600 other sites and
receives over 3 million hits a year.

ISTC is located in the basement of Blegen Hall, just down the hall from the West Bank bus stop.
Summer business hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and during the school year, the Center is
