OVERVIEW:                      The Affinia Shelburne Hotel, which offers guests an urban, cityscape
                               experience, will make its debut in June following a two-year, $25 million
                               renovation of the former Shelburne Murray Hill. The top-to-bottom
                               renovation includes a full redesign and reconfiguring of the hotel’s 268
                               guest rooms as well as an entirely new lobby that pulsates with playful
                               originality. Like the Affinia hotels in Washington, D.C. and Chicago, the
                               Affinia Shelburne will offer guests an urban escape as well as providing

LOCATION:                      The Affinia Shelburne Hotel is located at 37th and Lexington Avenue in
                               New York City’s charming Murray Hill neighborhood. The hotel is in
                               close proximity to the midtown headquarters of dozens of Fortune 500
                               companies, as well as Big Apple landmarks such as Grand Central
                               Station and the Empire State Building and dozens of the city’s top
                               restaurants and shops.

DESIGN & DÉCOR:                A thoughtful redesign of the hotel’s lobby was key element of this
                               transformation. Once tight and small, the designers gutted the existing


                      lobby to create a series of warm, comfortable and welcoming areas
                      featuring living room-like spaces for casual gatherings. Decorated in
                      shades of red, gold and dark brown, the living room spaces act as
                      inviting gathering spots where guests can meet for juice or coffee in the
                      morning or wine in the evening. Above all, the designers injected a
                      sense of playfulness into the lobby. On arrival, guests are greeted with
                      a mural with customized illustrations of figures, representing guests and
                      local New Yorkers, connected by their joint experiences in the city and at
                      the hotel. Mirrors are inserted within the illustrations, putting guests into
                      the visual.

                      Guest rooms feature an urban, residential design combined with the
                      amenities and technologies sought after by modern young executives. A
                      sophisticated soothing color palette creates an intimate setting in which
                      guests can work comfortably, relax and rest.

ACCOMMODATIONS:       Urban, classic and comfortable, the hotel’s 268 guest rooms and suites
                      feature an open floor plan and custom vanity/wardrobes with well-lit
                      dressing areas and ottoman. All furnishings were custom-designed,
                      including headboards with built-in reading lights and laptop side tables.
                      The rooms and suites range in size from 325 square feet, to 850 square

                      Spa-like bathrooms feature granite countertops, plush towels and
                      luxurious Aveda bath amenities. The hotel’s one-bedroom deluxe guest
                      rooms have separate living rooms. Deluxe rooms feature modern,
                      granite pantries and refrigerators.

DINING:               Rare Bar & Grill – Located on the lobby level, Rare Bar & Grill has been
                      called “a burger heaven” by Citysearch. Rare serves a variety of
                      hamburgers (including Steakhouse, turkey and organic) with imaginative
                      burger toppings, as well as a range of starters, sides and salads. Open
                      seven days a week.

                      Rare View Rooftop Bar – The hotel’s 5,000-square-foot rooftop bar and
                      lounge serves refreshing cocktails with spectacular views of New York
                      City’s glimmering skyline. Open Monday - Saturday from 4:30 to 11 pm
                      (from 6 pm on Saturday). Private garden available for intimate events,
