Benefit We Gain from Problem Solving

Word Count:
535

Summary:
Can you boast of spending a day wit
h no problems at all? I doubt you c
an. It is impossible. We face pro
blems every day, every hour, I dare
say every quarter an hour. Surely
these problems differ. We are used
 to solving some without identifyin
g the problem itself. These can be
defined as some minor or micro prob
lems. The other category of the pro
blems is likely to break the common
life routine and unbalance the mos
t even- tempered person. They imply
 real problem, indeed.

Keywords:
problem solving, mode of behaviour,
ego

Article Body:
The real fact on this Earth is that
no human being has ever lived with
out problems a single day. This is
impossible. People deal wit problem
s every day and problems do not fad
e away by themselves, they stay unt
il the person resolves them. When a
person gets strong enough to overc
ome stress and get to the core of t
hings, then the amount of problems
lessens. Some of the problems may b
e solved without the actual identif
ication of the problem. But there e
xist problems that drive a person t
o a state of emotional exhaustion.
These problems need careful attenti
on and analyses from the object.

Once a person has defined the probl
em, he/she starts thinking about po
ssible solutions, freeways across o
r hiding places that will help to i
mprove the situation. One of the te
chniques advises to divide a sheet
of paper into two columns that shou
ld depict the true state of things.
The main goal is to find the major
errors and this will lead the pers
on to the statement that there are
no hopeless situations. Every probl
em turns out to have weak points an
d sometimes people find their situa
tions more positive than negative a
fter all. This method makes a perso
n feel a step closer to self – ackn
owledgement. This method gives you
a possibility to realize that there
are inseparable parts of your “ego
” and it reflects your needs and am
bitions. Or you may do this in an e
xpanded way that will take more tim
e to accomplish a set goal. You hav
e to take two separate sheets of pa
per and fill them in with advantage
s and disadvantages of the situatio
n the person got into. There should
 be no omissions, no exaggerations,
just plain truth. This helps the p
erson to sort out the matter, find
out the cause, get into the core an
d delete the rout, which makes the
consequences fade away. People that
have been using this method confir
m that there is nothing more helpfu
l. Now they are able to see that th
e situation that seemed hopeless is
so indeed profitable after all. Th
is is however not an easy task to a
nalyze and what is more, to critici
se oneself. A person has to be stro
ng willed and very focused to resol
ve the problem this way. Let us not
forget about the goal of such an e
xperiment and that is to find a tru
e style or way of behaviour that wi
ll fit best in any situation. Think
over some of the variants and choo
se 2-3 that refer to you most. Rem
ember these methods should not in a
ny case be confusion to you. Otherw
ise you will look too artificial and to i

You may take all of them and practi
ce at once. But what if every one o
f them will appear to be failing an
d again you are in a great state of
 disappointment. The main goal here
is to treat the situation with hum
or and not let the pile of emotions
break out as if it is a storm. Fin
d the type of behavior that is very
 closely related to your character,
but what is better, bring your own
traits up and cherish for you are
a personality who has never been be
fore and will never again exist.
