FORMAT: Saturday’s flighted competition will be a total of 18 holes (9 holes 2-person scramble, and 9 holes alternate shot) starting at 9:00 am. The winning team on Saturday will be the 2-person team with the lowest 18-hole score. Sunday’s flighted competition will be 18 holes 2 person bestball with a shotgun start at 8:00 am. The winning team on Sunday will be the team with the lowest 18-hole score for both net and gross divisions. Flights will be determined by the lowest handicap player of each team. All handicaps exceeding 40.0 shall be reduced to 40.0. Handicap Index as of pairing date will be the official Handicap Index of each contestant for the tournament, of which 95% of the slope adjusted course handicap will be allowed. ELIGIBILITY: Entries are open to any amateur woman golfer 18 years of age, at the opening of the tournament, who is a legal resident of Wisconsin and a member in good standing of a WWPLGA/WWSGA club or have a WWPLGA individual membership. Nonresident members must agree not to participate in any other state’s major tournament – Signature required below. All entrants must have a current WSGA/USGA handicap index. Teams may not have a combined WSGA/USGA Handicap Index exceeding 70.0. ENTRY FEE: The entry fee for Saturday is $140.00 per team, for Sunday is $140.00 per team or $280.00 per team for both days, and must accompany entry blank. Teams can play either Saturday or Sunday or BOTH days. Make check payable to WWPLGA/Best Ball/Ryder Cup. DEADLINE: Entries close and must be received by August 30, 2009. The field will consist of the 50 lowest combined WSGA/USGA Handicap Index teams. There will be no refunds once pairings have been made. DRESS CODE: Appropriate golf attire must be worn during play. The WWPLGA interprets appropriate attire to include golf shirts (no tank or haltertops), at least mid-thigh length shorts and skirts or slacks. Soft Spikes Only. PAIRINGS AND PRACTICE: Saturday’s tee times begin at 9:00 a.m. and Sunday’s Round begins with a 8:00am shotgun. Practice rounds are permitted, contact the Pro Shop, Camelot (920) 269-4949. A green fee will be charged. Pairings will be mailed and on the website WWPLGA.ORG by Sept. 4. CARTS AND MEASURING DEVICES: Motorized carts will be mandatory for all contestants. Fee is included in entry. Currently Camelot does not have laser link, but measuring devices will be allowed for yardage only. TOURNAMENT LUNCH: A tournament lunch, which is included in the entry fee, will take place after Sunday’s event at the GC at Camelot. Falsifying information and/or improper conduct will not be tolerated, with disqualification and possible disciplinary action resulting. Proper golf attire MUST be worn by all contestants. Entries subject to approval or rejection by the Tournament Committee at its discretion. A contestant withdrawing from a tournament after the entry deadline, during the course of the tournament or failing to appear for a tournament after entering, without just cause or the approval of the Tournament Committee, shall be denied the right to play in that WWPLGA tournament the succeeding year. Notification of this action must come from the WWPLGA Executive Committee.
