A few weeks ago I heard about a product that could possibly save the quality of life I was slowly losing. I’d like to share the information with you.
FREELY SPEAKING
How do we leap over 170 years and still come out smelling like a free people? Do we go very slowly and cautiously scrutinizing each and every law and the intent of each and every word? If we do that not many of us will live to see that for which we worked and sacrificed. On the other hand can we lawfully repeal all the laws that are no longer valid for the year 2006? Who decides what is a ‘good’ law and what is a ‘bad’ law. What laws are ‘right’ what laws are ‘wrong’? Perhaps we should define ‘a law’. Isn’t it a restriction? Perhaps I’m wrong, but I thought our lives belonged to us by nature of birth. I thought laws were made to keep the government at bay. So, if that’s the case why do laws exist that create restrictions on living, breathing men, women and children, that can throw you in jail, that can take your hard earned money, that can take your children away from you, that ultimately enslave, etc. etc. etc. Furthermore…..why do we need some other countries ‘seal of approval’? Maybe we do….I don’t know. Perhaps this is too simplistic….maybe naive….uninformed….I don’t know. Please…..someone tell me, because I don’t understand why we have to follow the pomp and circumstance, the bureaucracies, the politics. It is those things that brought us together and to this point because we loathed them so. Congressmen….please comment on my concern. Thank you.

I live in and was born in Yoakum, a small town 24 miles SW of Gonzales. Three of the Alamo heroes lived within 13 miles from Yoakum. Victoria is 34 miles S. of Yoakum, Goliad is 52 miles SW of Yoakum, Columbus, near where General Sam Houston's Army crossed the Colorado River on their way to San Jacinto is 54 miles NE of Yoakum. James Allen, the last messenger to leave the Alamo going to Goliad with a last plea for reinforcements is buried 3 miles W of Yoakum. The defenders of the Alamo were defeated by 6:30 am on March 6, 1836. Allen was sent from the Alamo at 1:00 am by Colonel William Travis. Yoakum was in Gonzales, County in 1836 today Yoakum is in Lavaca and DeWitt Counties. Several Texians from the Yoakum area were killed along with Colonel Fannin at Goliad in March 1836. Sometimes it takes being a sleuth….we know the body is amazing and repairable. All we need to do is search for the right formulas. Over the past couple of years I did just that. One thing lead to another and to another, when I came across a treatment of an injectible product. The theory made sense and it ultimately did help me. IDEAS TO GET YOUR OWN LOCAL GOVERNMENT STARTED By Anne Mendonca
If any of you have ever been to a Tupperware, Jewelry, Clothing or any other home ‘party’, you will know that it’s a fun way to bring people together to share, be it a product or information. Remember now, everyone was invited without pretense. They know that they’re not going there just to have tea and cookies. They know there is something the host wants from them and they are prepared to listen to what the host has to say or sell. Plus, they accept the invitation because they want something too. And, what better way for this give and take to happen than in the privacy and relaxation of a home environment? We all have a ‘product’... It’s information. information more valuable than any gadget. We have unique information that can enrich lives. Why aren’t we using this fun method to share it? Out of these home ‘parties’ we will have the opportunity to meet new like-minded people to help us form our respective local governments. If you like this idea, can expand on it and/or have other ideas to reach this goal and are interested in brain-storming to coordinate a ‘ways and means’ group please email me at

In a previous issue reported the parking ticket dilemma (scam) that the city of Galveston was freaking out about for ‘losing’ 2.9 million dollars in parking tickets. Now their ’plan’ (conniving) is to ’enforce collection of the fines (‘cash cow’) by using a hearing examiner rather than a lawyer. Also, by making it s civil matter rather than a criminal matter they can go back to sending out letters threatening to report ’offenders’ to credit agencies. City Manager, Steve LeBlanc said” ‘ the city is sick and tired of people abusing the system.” His solution, with the city’s blessing is to place a ‘boot’ on cars who accumulate 3 unpaid tickets. The city passed an ordinance to allow this gestapo measure, along with exorbitant fines. . Are we outraged yet with corrupt local governments?. WHAT’S HAPPENING IN YOUR TOWN?
