IV. GRANTS
ACITC Faculty Development Grant to provide technical enhancements to on-campus courses and off-site
   client presentations, 2002.

Department of Education, Proposal for Building Global Bridges to the Middle East: International Business
   Education and Community Outreach Programs, co-principle investigator, not funded, 2005.

Federal Congressional Planning Session 2006-2007. Proposal for developing a Center for Immigration
   and National Security (CINS), co-principle investigator, funding decision in 2007.


V. ACADEMIC PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
In Spring 2009, developed and taught the first course on International Financial Reporting Standards to
     MBA graduate financial accounting class.

In 2007-08, worked on articulation of Winthrop University and York Tech, instituting changes to Principles
     of Accounting 1 and 2 to effect a smooth articulation.

Developed the minor programs for the College of Business including developing the minors in accounting
    in fall 2004.

Developed and sold the Executive Masters of Business Onsite Program for Rockwell Collins, Northrop
    Grumman and others first offered in fall 2004.

Developed and recruited students for the onsite Masters of Business Programs for Northrop Grumman
    employees, first offered in 2002 and again in 2005.

Developed the 2 + 2 Bachelors of Science program between College of Business and Brevard
    Community College. Program was signed in December 2004.

Developed the Bachelors of Science in Accounting Degree Program 2001-2002, first offered in fall 2002.

Developed the Masters of Business Administration – Accounting Track first offered in 2000.

Moderated the IIA-Charlotte Chapter Student Night With Internal Audit Panel Discussion in February,
    2009.

Treasurer and Board Member, Holland Springs POA, Rock Hill, SC, 2009-present.

Joined the FICPA in 2000 and became active on the Board in 2002 to help build a liaison between the
     College of Business and the Accounting community.

Served as the High School Coordinator for the FICPA January 2004 to May 2005. This involves speaking
    to various senior classes at various local high schools to promote the accounting profession.
