Creating an enduring legacy for future generations of Tinley Park Tinley Park has reached a turning point—a time future generations will call a special moment in our history—when important decisions we make now will identify our legacy. Over the past several years, we have seen carefully planned redevelopment lead to a vibrant downtown center that continues to grow and change. Many of our goals have been accomplished and more will be realized in the near future. These are excellent achievements that have made a huge impact on our quality of life, right here and now. But, what is our vision for downtown Tinley Park in 10 or 20 years? What decisions should we make now that will guide us toward the future we want for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren? The community is encouraged to attend a special Open Forum from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at Central Middle School, 18146 S. Oak Park Avenue, to provide input on the development of a Tinley Park Downtown Master Plan.
