We will conclude the week with a conference on October 23, a Citizens’ Awareness Day on October 24, and an exhibition during both days.

Concurrent with the Conference and the Citizens’ Awareness Day, Arena Nord will be transformed into a vibrant showroom of energy technologies of today and tomorrow. Here you will have the chance to present your product or concept. Anything that contributes to a greener and cleaner future is most welcome. These technologies and services might include: energy management, bio-energy systems, renewable energy vehicles, solar cells, heat pumps, energy labelled goods and electronics, insulation, low-energy houses, wind turbines etc.
CONFERENCE October 23
Energy Week 09 provides the framework for a substantive conference in which experts and business leaders from home and abroad will contribute with interesting and relevant presentations. The list includes, among others: Anders Eldrup, CEO, DONG Energy. Kristina Persson, Chairman of the associations ‘Federation of the North’ and Global Challenge. Hans Christian Smed, a “Frederikshavner” who is also a member of the management group behind Roskilde Festival, which will introduce the Green Footsteps campaign this year. What’s happening on today’s energy scene? Citizens will be inspired how to reduce their energy consumption and use renewable energy in their own homes, vehicles and households… and even save money! There will be plenty of ‘energizing’ entertainment for the whole family throughout the day. Experience, among others the entertainer, Anders Lund Madsen - on stage 14.00 - 15.00. Time Saturday, October 24, 10.00-15.00 Place Arena Nord Audience Everyone is welcome - entrance free. Price Citizens’ Awareness Day is an open and free event.
