Poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow appreciated and honored the arts, a sentiment reflected in his poetry. Join us for a fascinating look at paintings and sculpture in the Longfellow House. With approximately 2,000 works of art on exhibit and in storage, the Longfellow House collection contains works of renowned American artists such as Gilbert Stuart, Albert Bierstadt, Eastman Johnson, Florence Freeman, and Thomas Crawford. European artists include Jean Baptiste Camille Corot, Eugene Isabey, and Lorenzo Bartolini. Longfellow National Historic Site is located at 105 Brattle Street, Cambridge. No on-site parking.
