If a project is low risk, simple and/or low value a Tender Acceptance Letter will be
sufficient for the award of contract.
The decision to award on the basis of a Tender Acceptance Letter or formal Contract
must be made before the project is advertised.
Insert the missing details as follows:
Name & address of Tenderer
Name of contact for Tenderer
Period of contract
Options to extend
You may also need to include any specific conditions that were not finalised in the
tender e.g. SLA. Such documents should be included in the letter as an attachment.
Three copies of the letter should be produced in Hard Copy and the appropriate
signature obtained. Issue two copies to the Supplier for signature. Keep one copy in
the project folder until the signed copy is returned.
