9/11/07 Following up on my prior comments, I note with some dismay that the SEC has again taken the low road, and chosen not to list the names and brief comments of those who have taken the time to send in a "Type A" comment letter arguing for the elimination of the Options Market Maker Exemption. Given that I am of the opinion that these folks deserve to have their names and sentiments counted, and not marginalized as some sort of forgettable footnote to the SEC's request for comments on this important matter, I have taken the time to list their names, and any affiliation, as of today. It is my hope that the SEC will view their vote to eliminate the exemption as having the same weight and importance as the rest of the comment letters received to date.
