    Submittal Requirements
     Please review and submit with your proposal all required
      submittal documents listed in RFP Attachment 1 “List of
      Submittals Required with Proposal (RFP Checklist)”
     Complete and sign, when instructed to do so, all required
      forms

     Proposals to be organized and tabbed as indicated in RFP
      section VII “Proposal Content & Format Requirements”

     Submittal Due Date & Time: 12 Noon Pacific, June 15, 2010

     Packages/Boxes Clearly Marked (e.g. 1 of 3, 2 of 3, etc.)

     2 sets of CD-ROMs, each with a PDF of technical
      proposal and cost proposal

     1 original and 8 xerographic copies of technical
      proposal
     9 xerographic copies of cost proposal in a separate
      sealed envelope labeled with proposer’s name,
      project title, and the words “Cost Proposal”
     Please verify in advance that reference contact
      information is up to date & includes current email
      address

     ARJIS Overview
      The Automated Regional Justice
       Information System (ARJIS) is a complex
       criminal justice information-sharing
       system utilized by 82 local, state and
       federal agencies in the San Diego region.
      ARJIS is a Joint Powers Agency (JPA).
      The ARJIS communications network
       provides applications and connectivity to
       more than 11,000 users and over 35,000
       transactions daily.

     ARJIS Enterprise Background
      The ARJIS Enterprise involves acquisition of select
       technology components and implementation services for
       step-by-step replacement of legacy ARJIS technology
       offerings.
      Its goal is integrated current technology solutions.
      The ARJIS Enterprise initiative involves ARJIS user
       agencies in the form of a Core Working Group (CWG).
      The initiative also involves the ARJIS Technical Team:
            ▬ Includes all ARJIS technology resources.
            ▬ Focuses on technology issues.
            ▬ Ensures ARJIS technical issues and concerns
              are addressed.

      Centralized report-writing functionality throughout

        – Provide standardized and ad hoc reporting abilities for
          all data sources throughout ARJIS Enterprise

        – Facilitate system monitoring, security, and maintenance
        – Expand ability of agency officers, investigators, and
          crime analysts to create reports from devices in the field
          or in the office

      Replacement of the Crime Analysis and Statistic
       System (CASS)
        – CASS is a statistical reporting tool that runs on a subset
          of the data available on the ARJIS mainframe
        – CASS provides Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) data for
          ARJIS customer agencies
        – CASS is accessed via terminal emulators using
          standard wired workstations at ARJIS customer
          agencies
        – There are currently 30 CASS custom reports
