ASSISTANT MAIN DUTIES/PRIMARY FOCUS
ADVISOR
TRAINEE     1 . Complete all other duties and assignments as required.
LEVEL 1     2 . A position may not be assigned all the duties listed, nor do the listed examples include all the duties that may be assigned.

             Investment Management Duties:

                1 . Assist in assembling and proofing investment management reports and quarterly valuation statements (QV’s).
                2 . Gather information (ex. Morningstar Principia Pro Plus printouts) for investment recommendations for non-TD Ameritrade retirement plans
                    at a basic level.
                3 . Assist in securities trading activities.
                4 . Perform basic research on and assist in monitoring mutual funds (Ex. Morningstar Principia Pro Plus and Morningstar.com) and individual securities.

             Financial Planning Duties:

                1 . Bind and organize financial planning case/update for a meeting.
                2 . Create and organize new client expandables.
                3 . Update cash flow projection based on client revisions.

             Investment Coordinator Duties:

                1   .   Check announcements on Veo daily.
                2   .   Basic knowledge of checking accounts and how they work. Re-order checks for clients. Send deposit slips when requested.
                3   .   Complete & send daily overnight deliveries to TD Ameritrade as necessary.
                4   .   Keep a supply of bill of lading slips and UPS envelopes for shipping to TD Ameritrade. Order bill of ladings when necessary.
                5   .   Proof all new account sheets from TD Ameritrade. (Make two copies, give one to Sherry and one to Warren.)
                6   .   Be able to complete UPS on-line shipments when necessary.

                7   .   Revise and maintain account descriptions in VEO Express.
                8   .   As requested by client, complete Objecting 14B-1 forms and privacy forms

                4 . Prepare and assemble Investment Management documents as detailed on the Meeting Preparation Checklist.
                    a . Review Client Note History
                    b . Prepare standard reports and others that are assigned.
                5 . Prepare Determinator Forms.

             Financial Planning Duties:

                1 . Master and be able to teach all the duties stated at previous levels.
                2 . Update entire income tax projection for existing clients.

             Investment Coordinator Duties:

                1   .   Master and be able to teach all the duties stated at previous levels.
                2   .   Complete the Global Transaction Ledger and run Cash Balance Report.
                3   .   Resolve any errors on the Global Transaction Ledger.
                4   .   Run the Distribution Balance report once a week and check balances.
                5   .   Call clients re: deposits or withdrawals that show up on the Global Transaction Ledger.
                6   .   Establish TD Ameritrade online access for clients when requested.
                7   .   Add new accounts to client’s web access.
                8   .   Obtain user name & log in for all new employees for VEO. Remove name & login when necessary.
                9   .   Deposit any checks received in the mail. Follow up with client.
                #   .   Know how to journal cash from one account to another and if paperwork is necessary complete and execute.

      1 . Distribute Portfolio Center reports to advisors re: trades needed for cash needs. Follow-thru to be sure the trades occur.
      2 . Take calls from clients re: cash needed. Process transactions with TD Ameritrade. Follow-up with client to notify them that the
           transaction is complete.
      3 . Process all TD Ameritrade applications- complete paperwork, mail to client, track progress of paperwork and transfer in Protracker,
          Word and on the bulletin board, place calls to client to be sure paperwork is received, mail paperwork to TD Ameritrade, make weekly contact
          with TD Ameritrade regarding status of transfer, balance account when received to be sure all securities are received, close transfer in
          Protracker, Word, and on bulletin board. Place call to client regarding transfer being completed, notify advisors.
      4 . Know how to open all corporate accounts, trusts, etc. (Corporate, Trust, DBPP, PSP, 401(k), Roth, SEP, Simple, 403(b) Plans)
      5 . Set-up monthly distributions for clients – ACH, transfers to other TD Ameritrade accounts, checks or wires.
      6 . Be able to set up a wire for a client, complete paperwork, execute with TD Ameritrade, and follow up with TD Ameritrade and the client.
      7 . Add new groupings to the money balance report and any other necessary grouping.
      8 . Change beneficiary designations on accounts.
      9 . Change any item for regular IRA distributions – date, amounts, etc.
      # . Process any stock that is being deposited for a client.
      # . Complete & process Limited Power of Attorney forms.
      # . Open Coverdell accounts & UTMA’s.
      # . Open new 529 Plan accounts, send forms to clients, arrange funding as necessary. Track in Word, Protracker, and on bulletin board. Send
          completed paperwork and funds to 529 plans. Place call to follow up with plan re: open date, account number, credit balance or investment
          selections. Add to 529 Plan spread sheet. Follow-up with client. Give to interns to place in Portfolio Center.
      # . Complete procedures for all phases of my job. Keep the procedures up-to-date and complete new procedures as needed.
      # . Enter and execute all monthly billing. This includes QV’s and FP/IM clients. Wire funds from Sundry account to Legend's bank account.

       1 . Have a fairly extensive (High level) knowledge of the investments that Legend recommends.
       2 . Read and outline key points/interpretations on the readings themselves as assigned to the Investment Committee for approximately five hours
           per week.
       3 . Attend all internal and external (as assigned) investment management training sessions as well as portfolio manager meetings/conference
           calls.
       4 . Create groupings in Portfolio Center for new clients or add new accounts to current groupings.

   FINANCIAL PLANNING KNOWLEDGE

       1 . Attain a mastery understanding of the entire financial planning process.
       2 . Attend all internal and external (as assigned) financial planning training sessions.
       3 . Have a basic understanding of the most recent publication of the QuickFinder book, the IRA Answer Book and the Social Security
