ALLAHABAD BANK HEAD OFFICE, 2, N.S. ROAD, KOLKATA-700001 PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONSTRUCTION FIRMS/CONTRACTORS Application in prescribed form for Pre-qualification of construction firm/Contractors are invited from reputed, financially and technically capable Construction firm/Contractors, for its proposed construction of prestigious office cum residential multistoried building at Peddar Road in south Mumbai. Minimum/Basic criteria for pre-qualification: 1. The firms should have minimum 10 years of experience in construction of office cum residential buildings including civil, plumbing, sanitary & electrical works 2. The firms should have successfully executed at least 3 Construction projects costing not less than Rs. 5 Crores each, during last 5 years including civil, plumbing, sanitary & electrical works. 3. The average annual turnover of the firm should be Rs. 10 crores during last three years The prescribed application form may be downloaded from the Bank’s web site www.allahabadbank.com or may be collected from the Bank’s Regional Office, at 216A, Manish Commercial Centre, Dr. Annie Besant Road, Worli, Mumbai – 400 025. Selection may be based on particulars and documents furnished by the firms as required and satisfactory verification carried out by the Bank/Architects. Incomplete information in the application will lead to summary rejection. Issue of tenders will be restricted to those considered eligible by the Bank and no further notice in this regard will be issued. Last date for submission of duly filled prescribed application form with all necessary credentials/particulars in a sealed cover is on or before 12.10.04 at Regional Office, Mumbai. Bank reserves the right to cancel any or all applications without assigning any reasons whatsoever. The Bank’s decision as regards eligibility is final and binding. Deputy General Manager Instructions to the intending Construction Firms/Contractors who apply for Pre- qualification for the proposed construction of Bank’s new multi-storied building at Pedder Road, Mumbai Allahabad Bank Regional Office, Mumbai desires to pre-qualify Construction Firms/Contractors for the captioned work 1. Basic criteria for Pre-qualification of Construction Firms/Contractors: a. Intending Construction Firms/Contractors who presently work with Public Sector Undertakings, reputed private firms/institutions etc. having at least 10 years of continuous experience in such type construction field. b. Intending Construction Firms/Contractors should have successfully executed at least 3 Construction project of Multistoried Building, costing not less than Rs. 5 Crores, during last 5 years including Civil, plumbing, sanitary & electrical works for any Public Sector Undertakings, reputed private firms/institutions etc. in the city of Mumbai and or its suburbs. c. Construction Firms/Contractors should possess adequate organizational structure comprising of qualified Structural/Civi Engineers, Architects, specialists, other technical officers and staff along with computer aided facilities to execute work of the above nature and magnitude. 2. The interested Construction Firms/Contractors may apply in the prescribed Application Form(Annexure ‘A’) other may be obtained from Bank’s Regional Office at 216A,Manish Commercial Centre, Dr. Annie Besant Road, Worli, Mumbai- 25 or the format may be downloaded from the Bank’s WEBSITE. The prescribed format duly filled with all necessary particulars as stated in the prescribed format along with certificates/credentials regarding jobs undertaken at various organisations should be submitted in a sealed cover superscribed as application for pre-qualification of Contstruction Firms/Contractor at the Regional office on or before 12.10.04 at 3.0 p.m. Selection will be made based on particulars and documents furnished by the applicant as required and satisfactory verification carried out by the Bank Incomplete information in the application will lead to summary rejection. Issue of offers/tenders to Construction Firms/Contractors will be restricted to those considered eligible from the applicants and no further press notice in this regard will be issued. Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reasons whatsoever. The Bank’s decision as regards eligibility is final and binding. 4. For any other clarifications, intending agencies may contact the Bank’s Regional Office at Mumbai, before the last date of submission. 5. Incomplete applications and applications not filled properly with requisite details are liable for rejection and Bank will not entertain any further communication in such cases. Dy. If so, mention number and date. 7. a) Name and address of : the Bankers. b) Enclosed Solvency : Certificate from the Banker/s. 8. Whether registered for Sale tax purposes. If so, mention number and date. Furnish also copies of latest Sale tax clearance certificate 9. Whether an assessee of Income Tax. : If so, mention permanent account number. Furnish copies of latest Income Tax clearance certificate. 10. Furnish copies of audited Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account(audited) for the last three years. 11. If you are registered in the panel of : As per proforma-I other organizations/statutory bodies, such as CPWD/PWD/MES/Banks/LIC/Public Sector under takings/Railways etc. furnish their names, category and date of registration. 12. What are your fields of activities? i) Mention the fields on preference ii) basis. iii) iv) 13. Profile structure/technical personnel : As per Proforma - II of the organization and technical set up for various specialization woks such as Structural/Electrical/Air- conditioning/Water supply and Sanitary/Interior decoration/Fire protection works etc. 14. Whether willing to work any where : in India or mention the places where you are willing to work. 12. Detailed description of works : As per Proforma – III handled for the Bank and other organizations in the past and works being handled at present. 13. Furnish the names with address of i) three responsible persons/Institutions/Organisations ii) who will be in a position to certify about the services as well as the past iii) performance of your organization. 14.
