The MPAC 1800 provides the platform to build powerful applications based on Mobile and Intelligent Network protocols. The 64 SS7 signalling link card is an ideal engine to deliver the performance and interconnect capability required by these applications. Supporting IS-41/WIN , MAP/CAMEL and INAP API´s through the TDAPI development framework , the MPAC 1800 is ready to be deployed in applications such as pre pay, SMSC, STP or HLR nodes. Access is also available at lower protocol layers such as MTP2/3 if required. The MPAC 1800 PCI card is a natural upgrade path for existing MPAC1200/NS700 cards. Providing up to 8 E1/T1 interfaces, and 64 SS7 signalling links, the card is entirely backward compatible with the MPAC 1200 and MPAC 2400 API´s. The card supports PCI 2.3 ensuring it is compatible with the widest possible range of host architectures, and drivers are available for Windows 2000/XP, Linux and Solaris. The MPAC 1800 PCI card also has the capability to provide bearer channel streaming over the PCI bus, providing applications such as ASR and TTS with the bearer channel I/O, or just to offer voice channel record and play for voice mail or IVR type applications.

The MPAC 1800 has been designed to be fully RoHS and WEEE complaint, so eliminating any environmental concerns and allowing it to be deployed around the globe. This is also true of the MPAC 2416/5600/6400 cards. Telesoft Technologies telephony boards also offer the capability to provide non-intrusive monitoring or tapping of the network for surveillance or other Value-Added Services (VAS).
