Comment Text : --> There are many concerns about this project that have not been addressed. The containers have not been built and there is no assurance that they will hold nuclear waste for the thousands of years required. In fact, there are no specifications for such containers. There is no plan in place for emergency response in the event of an accident during transportation of nuclear materials. There is not enough information on how the storage of nuclear waste wll affect the groundwater supply not only in Nevada but also in Inyo County and Death Valley National Park. It is recognized that there will be deaths from cancer. There is no information on how many cancer cases there are now and how many new cancer cases will occur because of this nuclear storage at Yucca Mountain. There is always an increased risk of terrorism particular when nuclear waste is being transported across the country on our highways. With no new nuclear plants the requirement for storage of waste would be reduced. I believe we must not build new plants until we know how to safely store nuclear waste. We certainly need to take this into consideration. I believe the best way to store the waste is on the site where it is generated. That way, smaller amounts are stored at each site and thus the danger of a huge stockpile of nuclear waste in one site is diminished. One way to reduce the risk
