Switch (a.k.a. Dave Taylor, A. Brucker, Solid Groove) is a UK-based DJ, songwriter, sound engineer and record producer. A leading figure of the fidget house genre, Switch runs his own music label "Dubsided." He further produces with fellow DJ/Producer Sinden, and they both run the label Counterfeet, established in 2006. Switch released the track "A Bit Patchy", which is based on the recording of Apache by The Incredible Bongo Band. He has collaborated on songs with M.I.A. on her albums Arular and Kala. For the latter, he travelled to work with Arulpragasam in A. R. Rahman’s Panchathan Record Inn and A.M. Studios and other locations in Kodambakkam - Chennai, Trinidad and Tobago and London in 2006/ 2007. Since then he has gone on to work with other artists such as Santogold on her eponymous debut album Santogold and Tricky. He has also become in demand for his extensive remix work, and has remixed bands such as Basement Jaxx, Lily Allen, X-Press 2 and Bugz in the Attic. He remixed Nine Inch Nails’ Capital G. [1] He is currently collaborating on an album with Diplo, as Major Lazer, set for release on June 16th 2009.

Namesakes
There are many other artists that go under the same pseudonym, but perhaps the most notable is Anthony Culverwell, an accomplished British turntablist and scratch DJ. He is the youngest person to be crowned as a DMC UK champion, and currently holds four such titles - a team title with his scratch crew Bionic Stylus, and three individually-won, consecutive ’Battle For Supremacy’ titles, again the first Brit to achieve such a feat. He was crowned as World Supremacy Champion 2008, and is the first newly-crowned title holder from England in a hiatus of five years.
