We are looking for an Associate Brand Manager to become the newest member of the Marketing
Team located in our Bothell, WA headquarters. This role will support the Brand Director or Brand
Manager in creation and execution of marketing programs – both product marketing and
marketing communications. The successful candidate will enjoy a wide breadth of exposure to
varied projects within the marketing area, and a high level of visibility across the organization.

Responsibilities:

   Collaborate in the development of brand/marketing programs
        o Participate in appropriate meetings with team members, vendors and consultants
        o Provide timely, accurate execution of marketing program tasks as assigned, including:
        o Assist in updating marketing materials as directed by the Brand Director/Brand
            Manager
                 Prepare or gather materials for Sales, and others as needed
                 Assist in collateral inventory tracking (including sell slicks, clinicals, etc)
        o Analyze marketing campaign outcomes, including test results
                 Assist in the planning, execution and tracking of direct mail programs
                 Assist in Web page updates and Web traffic reporting
        o Maintain/update fulfillment, lead packets, and press kit materials as directed
        o Assist in consolidating and analyzing brand related market research, statistics and
            other key data
   Assist in product management/new product launches
        o Conduct market/product research via the Internet; contribute to new product launches
            as appropriate
        o Update product documents as directed by the Brand Director/Brand Manager (e.g. user
            manuals, QRCs, etc.)
        o Help coordinate elements of new product initiatives with NPD, as tasked by the Brand
            Director/Brand Manager
   Help document and track Brand sales forecast
   Perform competitive intelligence search and analyses; track competitive pricing
   Track Brand budget
        o Verify budget item invoices for Brand Director/Brand Manager prior to payment
        o Monitor costs associated with assigned brands
   Assist with managing marketing items in Master Control and maintain Brand related databases
    as appropriate
   Attend local trade shows, workshops and market research as appropriate
        o Demonstrate product features and functionality as required
        o Assist with media/customer outreach as required
        o Assist with organization/execution of event-specific projects as required
   Represent Marketing on cross functional teams as directed
   Handle special projects as needed
Requirements:

      Bachelor's Degree required.
      1-3 years of experience in a Marketing role
      Strong and demonstrable working knowledge of PC software (MS Office)
      Experience in drawing data from a range of research sources.
      Excellent computer, analytical and project management skills
      Ability to work with and create reports from databases and spreadsheets.
      Demonstrated ability to identify, monitor, and analyze key business metrics.
      Ability to synthesize data into information and make recommendations for actionable plans
      Ability to prioritize to meet deadlines, problem solve, and be proactive.
      Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); good listener – asks good questions
       as appropriate
      Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
      Works effectively in a team environment. Ability to interact effectively with people in
       various functions and at all levels of the organization.
      Highly motivated, able to work independently and demonstrate initiative, driving for
       results.
      Ability to work in a deadline driven, fast paced environment and produce quality work.
      High energy, enthusiastic, and self-motivated, with a desire to create a career at
       Verathon.
      Must be motivated to work on new and challenging projects.
      Must have a good sense of curiosity and be willing to learn
      Must hold a high level of integrity

Preferred:

      Formatting experience in InDesign, HTML, Publisher, and Project desirable
      Experience and knowledge of healthcare industry with medical device desirable.
      Sales experience a plus
