The Foundation for Higher Education is a non-profit institution. It became
operational in 1995 to offer quality education in the fields of Business
Management, Computer Science, Health Management, Industrial
Engineering and Management Education, Media Studies and Economics
and Social Development.

The Foundation now runs CBM, CCSIS, the College of Economics and
Social Development (CESD), Creek College and Creek High School on a
ten acre campus in the serene and secure environment of Korangi Creek,
fifteen minutes drive from the overhead bridge of Shahra-e-Faisal.

Creek College offers a highly successful Intermediate program in
Commerce, Arts and Science (Pre-Engineering, General Science and
Pre-Medical)

Minimum 50% marks in S.S.C Examination or Minimum Six ‘O’ level

Urdu. Students awaiting Matriculation or ‘O’ level results may also apply.

CBM links

All students who obtain an A grade at the Intermediate level are eligible
for preferential (no entry test) admission to CBM.

The Institute has a centrally air-conditioned purpose-built nine acre
campus with modern Information Technology facilities, library,
gymnasium, squash court and a Student’s Activity Center.

Library

The library comprises a wide selection of books, journals, periodicals and
reference books.




LABORATORIES

The Physics, Chemistry and Computer Laboratories are centrally
air-conditioned and outfitted with the latest equipment and having a
capacity of more than 50 students at a time.

     Rabab Hashim secured First position in H.S.C – I in BIEK
     Examination 2009 with 89.09%
     Muhammad Saif Secured 5th position in Intermediate Commerce
     2009 with 81.36%
     Shiraz Ahmed Secured 10th position in Intermediate Commerce 2009

Sports

The college participated in various sports events (football, badminton,
table tennis) organized by the BIEK.

The College badminton team won the Inter-collegiate badminton
tournament consecutively for the last two years.

Workshop.

                                     Annual Award Distribution Ceremony

The Annual Award distribution ceremony is held every year for outstanding
students both in academics and co-curricular activities.

     Merit certificate were awarded to 34 students who scored A-1 and A grades
     by the Chief Guest, The President of IoBM
     The Principal’s Award for excellence in Academics / Performing Arts was
     given to Rabab Hashim
     The Principal’s Award for excellence in Leadership Incentives and
     Academics went to Salman Merchant
     The Principal’s Award for outstanding Character / Academics /
     Sportsmanship was given to Shayan Ahmed

Fee Structure

For the kind of quality education and environment offered by Creek
College, the fee structure is significantly lower as compared to similar
institutions. Creek College is a non-profit institution.

The fee structure is as follows

Admissions

Merit is the only criteria for admission at Creek College. Candidates
meeting the admission criteria have to appear for a written test and
interview. Interested candidates with excellent academic backgrounds are
invited to meet the Creek College Faculty and discuss their options.

Transport

Subsidized transport is available for regular students, if needed. The boys
are picked up and dropped from the campus to conveniently located
points. The girls are picked up and dropped off to their homes.

Ms. Talat H. Davis
Principal

Educator and teacher. She has two Masters Degrees in English
Literature and comparative World Literature from Georgetown
University, Washington DC and Lucknow University, India. MBA
from Simmons / Harvard (cases), Boston, USA. Diplomas in
Public Communication, Boston University, USA. She attends and
conducts workshops internationally. Her teaching experience
includes the US, Middle East and India.

Ms. Mejeebun Nisa Issani
Vice Principal

She has a Masters Degree in General History from Karachi
University and also has a B.Ed. from Karachi University. She has
forty years experience in teaching and administration serving
both in the government and private sectors. Her work experience
includes being a District Education Officer, Director Primary
Schools, Director (girls primary project) assisted by Asian
Development Bank, Principal Higher Secondary School and
Headmistress of various Secondary Schools.

Mr. Akhtar Zaman
Lecturer in Physics / Coordinator

He has an M. Phil Degree in Education and a Masters Degree in
Applied Physics with specialization in Electronics from Karachi
University. He has twenty five years of teaching and ten years
of administrative experience including fifteen years in Pakistan
Air Force College, where he worked as Lecturer, Professional
Development Coordinator and progress monitoring incharge.

Ms Shagufta Shaheen
Lecturer in Islamic Studies.

She has a Masters Degree in Islamiat from Karachi University
and twenty one years of experience teaching ‘O’ and ‘A’ levels
at City School. Areas of interests are Business Ethics & Herbal
Medicine.

Mr. Atif Iqbal
Instructor (Accounting)

He has an M.Com Degree from Karachi University and ICMAP
(Partly Qualified). Eight years of teaching experience in
Accounting and Finance in various colleges.

Ms. Shaheen Mazhar
Instructor (English)

Ms. Mazhar has a Masters Degree in English (Linguistics) and
English (Literature) from the University of Karachi. She has
Eight years of experience working in reputed institutes of
Karachi.


Rafiq Ahmed
Instructor (Chemistry)


He has a Masters Degree in Chemistry from the University of
Karachi. He has been Lecturer in various colleges of Karachi
for 9-years and has taught at M.L Sultan Technical College
(Durban) South Africa as a lecturer in Chemical Science for
nine years.


Maria Michael
Instructor (Commercial Geography)


She has a Masters Degree in Geography from the Federal Urdu
University for Arts, Science and Technology Karachi. She
started her career from St. Paul’s English High School in 2004
and has six years of experience working in this field.


Nasreen Aziz
Instructor (Urdu)

Nasreen Aziz has been in the field of Education for the last
fourteen years. She has a Masters Degree in Urdu from the
University of Karachi. She has several years of experience
working in reputed institutes of Karachi.

Bushra Jabeen
Instructor (Economics)

Bushra Jabeen has been in the field of teaching for the last
fifteen years. She completed a Post Graduate Degree in
Economics from the University of Karachi. She has worked for
the Aga Khan Education system, Army Public College and for
Fatimiyah Education Network.


Shahida Shahzad
Instructor (English)


She has a Masters Degree in English Literature from the
University of Karachi. Shahida Shahzad has been teaching
English to both the junior high school and senior high school
levels since 1998. She has worked for The Aga Khan
Educational School System, conducted workshop on ESL
forum (SPELT). Her area of interest is cognitive linguistics.
She is currently pursuing for an MBA in Educational
Management at IoBM.


Jamil Ahmed
Instructor (Mathematics)

He has a Masters Degree in Mathematics from the Almeda
University, USA. He has 25 Years of experience working in
reputed colleges both in Karachi and overseas.
