PUBLIC NOTICE SPECIAL MEETING OF THE REPUBLICAN RIVER COMPACT ADMINISTRATION
A Special Meeting of the Republican River Compact Administration (RRCA) will be conducted by telephonic conference call on Tuesday, April 28, 2009. The meeting is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. CST, and we anticipate that it will last about an hour. The current draft agenda is attached to this notice. The sole purpose of this special meeting is to allow Colorado to bring before the RRCA an augmentation plan that Colorado has developed to address her current overuse of her allocation. Kansas and Nebraska have been in closed discussions with Colorado on this matter for the last several months. Colorado is asking the RRCA to approve their augmentation plan and its related accounting as required by the Final Settlement Stipulation. Below are listed three listening locations if you would like to sit in on the call. If you have any questions or would like to obtain more information, please contact Scott Ross Scott.Ross@kds.ks.gov at (785) 425-6787 or Chris Beightel Chris.Beightel@kds.ks.gov at (785) 296-3830.
