Compromise and Settlement -- Disputed Boundary Line
Agreement made on the (date), between (Name of Landowner A) of (street address, city,
state, zip code), referred to herein as Landowner A, and (Name of Landowner B), of (street
address, city, state, zip code), referred to herein as Landowner B.
Whereas, the parties are adjoining landowners owning parcels of property located and
described on Exhibits A and B with Landowner A’s property being described in Exhibit A and
Landowner B’ property being described in Exhibit B, said Exhibits being attached hereto and
made a part hereof; and
Whereas, the existing common boundary line between the properties of the parties, as
set forth in deeds held by them, is described in Exhibit C attached hereto and made a part
hereof; and
Whereas, the true location of this line has been made uncertain in recent years due to

Whereas, the parties desire to establish a new boundary line for their mutual
convenience;
Now, therefore, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants contained in this
Agreement, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is
hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows:
1. Location of New Boundary
A new boundary line between the property owned by the parties shall be located as

2. Consideration for Agreement
In consideration of what purports to be a loss in acreage suffered by Landowner A as a
result of establishing the described new boundary, Landowner B agrees to pay to Landowner A
