Casey McPherson (born September 15, 1978 in Lake Jackson, Texas) is a singer/ songwriter based in Austin, Texas. He is
currently the frontman of the band Alpha Rev and was formerly the frontman of the band Endochine Casey grew up in Jones Creek, Texas where he was home-schooled and classicaly trained on the piano for twelve years. He taught himself to play guitar as a child, being left-handed he discovered that the instrument only worked when he played it upside down. While in Endochine, Casey lost his father and only brother to suicide, and has since become an advocate and spokesperson for depression awareness and suicide prevention. In 2007 Casey taped a syndicated national college radio suicide prevention program and appeared in a national television spot for Mental Health America.
