Negotiates assigned proposals and will serve as the point of contact between the Company and the customer on business/contractual matters. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *Administers the development of risk mitigating terms and conditions and preparation of proposals and manages all proposal contractual activities for assigned programs. *Reviews all assigned bids, proposals and contracts, including changes, modifications and amendments thereto, prior to negotiation and execution to ensure that they are complete, responsive and correct in all aspects. *Negotiates with the customer’s representatives; provides information in accordance with established guidelines regarding the status of negotiations. *Assesses the business risks associated with assigned proposals and contracts and communicates as appropriate, with management. *Administers proposed and existing contracts as assigned; maintains knowledge of current customer requirements, policies and procedures. Issues Contract Brief(s) for assigned programs. Serves as a point of contact for the customer on all assigned business and contractual matters; provides coordination with other departments as necessary in the preparation of responses to customer correspondences and other requests. *Monitors assigned contract(s) by maintaining a continuing survey of progress to verify compliance with shipping schedules, design specifications, legal requirements and other contractual commitments. Monitors, in conjunction with the Program Manager, performance against the original cost allocation and contract requirements in order to anticipate necessary changes in contract funding or scope of work. *Reviews and coordinates all requests for data to assure protection of company and customer interests; administers the preparation and delivery of customer required data and reports in compliance with contractual requirements. EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Business preferred and or a minimum of five years of related experience. Thorough hand-on understanding of FAR/DFAR and UCC Experience with U.S. Government regulations on export and import (EAR and ITAR) desirable *Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance. Requirements: Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance. Preferred Education: 4 Year Degree NOTES: US Residents Only. Employer will assist with relocation costs. DOE
