							             HOLLISTON TAX BILLS DUE MAY 1


The fourth quarter real estate and personal property tax bills
are due on Friday, May 1, 2009, by 4:30 p.m. The fourth
quarter tax bills were mailed in December 2008. If you are
a new owner and do not have a copy of the current bill,
please contact the Tax Collector’s Office immediately at 508-
429-0602. Failure to receive a bill does not affect the
validity either of the tax or of the proceedings for its
collection per Mass. General Law.

There is a drop off box located near the side door of Town
Hall facing the parking lot for your convenience. All
payments must be placed in the box before 4:30 p.m. on
May 1. Late payments will be subject to an interest charge
of 14% per annum and a $10 demand. Payments can be
mailed to Tax Collector, PO Box 6737, Holliston, MA 01746
or paid on line at www.townofholliston.us. No postmarks
will be accepted. Office hours are 8:30 to 4:30 Monday
through Friday.
