Pharmaka and Atelier Zero are pleased to announce the launch of a new educational
program for art professionals called SURVIVAL WORKSHOP SERIES FOR ARTISTS. This
workshop provides various technical and survival tips to visual artists, particularly the ones
whose primary focus is on contemporary painting.
Alexandra Pollyea is a writer, editor, and currently the director of public relations and
marketing for the Santa Monica Museum of Art. She has worked in the non-profit and
corporate worlds in the areas of print, film, television, and the Internet. She received her
M.F.A. from the USC School of Cinematic Arts and her J.D. from George Washington
University. Her resolution for 2007 is to sing and play guitar at an open mike.
Cost: $20 admission
