Look on the back for a list of Mystery books! Step One: Choose a book and have it approved by your teacher. 1. Book Commercial- Create a poster using interesting facts to advertise your book to make others want to read it, without giving away the ending. On a piece of large poster board include the title of the book, the author, and an original picture hand done by you showing an interesting part of the book. In your own words tell why somebody else might enjoy the book. Be sure to also include your name on the front of the poster. Have all the parts mentioned above arranged on your poster in a pleasing, eye catching fashion.” Sell" the book through strong words (adjectives to describe) and pictures! 2. Travel Brochure- Make a travel brochure advertising the setting of the story. Prepare your travel brochure using pictures you have found or drawn. Also put descriptions of the places and why people would want to travel there (things to do, map with key) in your brochure. Be sure to include information from the story and to include the title of the book, author and your name somewhere on the brochure. 3. Write your own ending- Create a new ending for your book. You may type or write a new ending for your book (at least one page in length). On top of the page include the title of the book, the author and your name. Be sure that your new ending relates to the problem, setting and characters in your book.
