Resilience 3) Centenarians tend to be physically active, extensive social networks and maintain strong ties with family. 4) Between optimist and pessimists studies show optimist to live longer. 5) I don’t think it’s necessarily coping with events, but over coming events. Being strong willed to move on with or own person life and the drive to move on. 6) Some common diseases of the older population today are cancer, pacemakers, earring aids and joint replacements. 7) Three thing I can do to help prevent disease and create functional longevity is to eat healthy, be physically active and always carry a positive and motivating attitude. Going to be 94 years young!
