DAY A LHS BOYS SOCCER MEETING All 8th and 9th grade boys who are interested in playing LHS Boys Soccer next year, there will be a short information meeting here at Jenifer, FRIDAY ,May 22nd, 3pm, in room 111. NO SCHOOL Monday, May 25th, due to Memorial Day. Have a great long weekend and we will see you back again on Tuesday, May 26th. HAVE YOU PURCHASED A YEARBOOK YET? Yearbooks are being pre-sold in the office for $20 each until they are gone. Annual signing party is May 28th after school, 3:00pm to 4:30pm. Make sure and get yours so you can have your memories on paper!! STUDENTS The May Tab book order form is now available in the library. The order will go in tomorrow (Thursday), May 21. This is the last one for the year. Stop by and check out some great titles and prices. Also--- remember you need to clear your library fines before the semester ends. You may also clear fines owed to other Valnet libraries. STUDENTS The Youth Volunteer Coordinator will be here today (Thursday), 9:30-10:30am. If you want to see her, sign up with the school secretaries. LHS FOOTBALL CAMP for students who will be entering grades 4 through grades 8. All skill levels are welcome. Camp will be held at Lewiston High School, 8:30am-2pm, on June 6th. If you are interested, pick up a flyer in the magazine rack below the office window. LHS TRACK ATHLETES: If you do not want to pay a fine, TURN IN YOUR UNIFORM. BRING YOUR UNIFORM IN A BAG and drop it off at the awards banquet or the main office of your school. Make sure you put your name on a piece of paper and put that in the bag. Thanks. 7/8/9 TUTORING No tutoring today (Thursday) after school due to Professional Development for staff. Reminder - no tutoring after school on Fridays unless prearranged with a specific teacher. LIBRARY LUNCH PASSES TODAY & FRIDAY: Today AND Friday all grades are OK. Register by June 1. EIGHTH GRADERS WANTING TO PLAY 9TH GRADE FOOTBALL Keep getting good grades as you need to maintain good grades throughout 4th quarter to turn out for football and receive your football gear during 9th registration this August. Any questions, see Mr. Renzelman or Mr. Ulrich. STUDENTS On Tuesday, May 26, the library will start checking out books for our summer reading program. You may check out three books for the summer. Be sure to tell Ms. Penrod they are for the summer so she can set the due date for September 8. Summer reading books need to be checked out and taken home before the final locker clean out. All other Jenifer library books are due the last day of school, June 4th. SEVENTH & 8TH GRADERS free to all 2008-2009 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in the Lewis/Clark Valley and Pomeroy!! Quality Behavioral Health Summer Youth Program every Wednesday, June 17th to August 12th. If interested pick up an information sheet in the magazine rack under the office window. If you want to be a part of this program, sign up in the Counseling Center.
