How to reach us?
  Pune is well connected by rail, road and air to the major cities in India. It takes about
  3 hours to reach Pune from Mumbai by road. This has become possible because of the
  new expressway between Mumbai and Pune. You can take a private taxi or bus or a
  government bus to reach here. A train journey from Mumbai to Pune also takes about
  3 hours. Pune is connected by air to Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Goa.

Hostel Facility
A land of 4 acres in exclusively reserved for Hostels by the Trust and has constructed a
nine storeyed hostel building to accommodate 500+ students. There are separate
hostels for boys and girls. Hostel complex is named as Vishwakarma International Centre
(VIC). The centre has other facilities such as Library, wi-fi, photocopying, Health Centre
etc. Accommodation of international standards in single, double and triple occupancy is
available. A/C as well as non A/C rooms are available.

   3. Pl indicate your choice of preference for the Institute & the branch
   4. Attach the necessary Original documents or duly attested copies by

                  ii. Student‟s country mission in New Delhi, or
                 iii. Ministry of Education in student‟s country
   5. Prepare an affidavit on INR 100 stamp paper duly notarized ( Draft enclosed)
   6. Demand Draft of INR 10000 drawn in favor of “Vishwakarma Institute of
      Technology” payable at Pune, India. which will be non-refundable, non-
      transferable, non adjustable.
   7. Submit the form along with Demand draft to

Definition of PIO
“Persons of Indian Origin” (PIO) in this context means a person having foreign
citizenship (except Pakistan and Bangladesh) without “NRI” status, but who holds a
Foreign Passport at the time of sending application, consideration for admission and
during the period of his study and he/she or any one/ both of his/her parents or any
one/ both of his /her grand parents is (or was) / are (or were ) citizen (s) of India by
virtue of the provisions of the Constitution of India or Section 2 (b) of Citizenship Act,
1955 (Act No. 57 of !955).
Definition of Foreign National
Foreign Nationals: Shall mean the citizens of all countries other than India, who are not
of Indian origin as defined under PIO. Foreign Student: Shall mean, in this context, as
the student who possesses a foreign passport , provided that any subsequent changes in
the definition as may be notified by the Government of India shall have the same latest
meaning respectively assigned to them. The other expressions not defined herein shall
have the meaning as may be assigned in any subsequent notification of Government of

“NRI” in this context means Non-Resident Indian as defined in Income Tax Act, 1961
with the following clarifications:
An individual is Non-Resident when he is “not a resident” or who is “not ordinarily

(1) If he/she has not been resident in India in nine out of ten preceding years; or
(2) If he/she has not been in India for a period of 730 days or more during the

     studious. This helps them to come up very well. We provide orientation program to
     all international students and help them to bring their understanding to the level of
     local students. All students who continue to work on their assignments regularly
     can complete the program in minimum possible time.

Q.37 Will my child be able to move back to local institute if required?
Ans : YES. Discontinue the program.

Q.38 Will the institute be relocating anytime?
Ans : NO. The investment in the infrastructure is so high that it would be impractical
     to think of moving it out.

Ans : NO. Ragging in VI is strictly prohibited as per law. VI maintains high level of
discipline and even minor instances of ragging are unheard on our campus.
