MTV Classic
MTV Classic
The channel was owned by MTV Networks Polska, the Polish branch of the worldwide music network belonging to the Viacom group. Its studio and offices are located in eastern Warsaw. In December 2005, the MTV Classic name was replaced by VH1 Polska.
MTV Classic was the name of the Polish version of the television channel VH1. Because of low brand awareness and possible language difficulties, for the first time worldwide, the name MTV was used for the channel -- which broadcast past music videos and documentaries about music stars. It also aired old MTV shows such as Beavis and Butt-head.
