Hiking, Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Bicycling, Kayaking, and Boating are very prominent hobbies. There are several dedicated areas for off-road four-wheeling, quad riding and dirt-biking. In May, Bald Eagles can be seen hunting or nesting in the area. Victoria, Canada is a short 1.5 hour ferry ride from Port Angeles.
