Information to the Students About the course This course is of 1½ (One & half ) years duration ( Full Time) . One year for Classroom instructions and six months for in plant training. This course is being run successfully for last 50 years. Many of our students are at very senior positions in the industry. Even the last batch students are placed very well with entry level salary of Rs. 10,000/- plus P.M. College also has very active Training and Placement cell. During the six month training also students receive a good amount of stipend. (i.e. Rs. 5000/- plus) Admissions to this course are open to students who have passed Diploma in Mechanical or Automobile or Production Engineering from M.S.B.T.E. or equivalent in Maharashtra State. Open category students with 50% aggregate marks or B.C. students from Maharashtra state with 45% aggregate marks can also apply. All Rules of reservation as per Government of Maharashtra are applicable. Ex. State Diploma holder i.e. Diploma holder from other states can be allowed up to 10% of sanctioned seats. Subject to Eligibility defined under the Rules for admissions. Our students of P. D. Auto. Engg. are employed as service advisers, Works managers, vehicle surveyors, Design engineers, Quality control managers, Executives, Area service engineers, Managers(Customer care), Operations Manager, and so on with the companies of repute as Mahindra and Mahindra, Force Motors, Eicher Motors, TVS, dealers of vehicles of reputed makes and so on.

Rules for admissions
Application form fees: Rs. 300/- for open category students Rs. 150/- for Reserved category students (B.C.) (B.C. From Maharashtra students only) Reservation as per the norms of Govt. of Maharashtra Course fees for (two semesters) to be paid is as follows. Rs.4750/- for sem.I andRs.3000/- for sem. II. Fee is Same for open and B.C. category students. ( Many B.C. candidates gets tuition fees refunded after successful completion of one year theory ) (Likely to be revised) Eligibility: Diploma passed through M.S.B.T.E in the branch of Mechanical or Automobile or Production Engineering within state of Maharashtra. Diploma by Govt. Polytechnics Autonomous in the state of Maharashtra. And Others as certified equivalent by M.S.B.T.E. For Ex-State –Diploma in Engg. (Min. of 3 year duration)-and Examination conducted by Govt. State Board Of Technical Examination of that state-in above mentioned branches of Engg. with Medium of Instruction, Examination and Documents in English. Minimum percentage of Marks: 50% aggregate for open category students 45% for reserved category students from State of Maharashtra. Full time course. Males and Females both can apply Students who have passed concerned Diploma earlier can also apply. Documents as per the instructions in application form but while applying at least Final year Mark sheet, Transfer certificate ( Leaving Certificate ) from last attended institute and a passport size photo is must .Caste related documents can be acceptable on the day of admission. If you posse’s two diplomas concerned then the one with higher marks will be considered for application.
