The 3 main ways you can help
1. A Residuary Gift this is all, or a percentage of your estate to be given, after all debts, funeral, testamentary expenses and other gifts have been paid. a residuary gift is an excellent way to divide your estate between individuals and your chosen cause. this gift doesn’t need updating unless you choose to do so. It automatically keeps up with the value of your estate by dividing it into percentages and then you simply choose who you wish to receive these percentages. 2. A Pecuniary Gift this is a fixed sum of money. this kind of gift doesn’t always keep the value that was first intended. However, you can seek professional advice about index-linking this gift. 3. A Specific Gift this is a particular named item. this gift could be an antique with real or sentimental value. every year we invest our resources to help improve the lives of people living with diabetes and one of the best ways you can help future generations is to remember us in your Will.
