He received a degree in Economics from Antwerp University in Belgium in 1987 and MBA degree from Brussels University in 1988. His professional career has been advancing with Danone since 1987. He has worked for 20 years in different markets, including France, the Netherlands, Spain, and Bulgaria and in 2005 was appointed General Director of Danone Russia & CIS in charge of all daily operations in the CIS. Valentin Zavadnikov is a Representative of the Federation Council, Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and a Chairman of the Federation Council Industrial Policy Committee. After graduating from the Far East Higher Marine Engineering College, he worked both in business and for government departments.
