All camp activities will take place within Albright College’s multi-million dollar sports complex including the newly renovated Gene Shirk Stadium. General Practice Schedule Camp will begin promptly at 9 a.m. every morning and end each day at 3 p.m. It will include: • • • • active stretching and speed development Individual position drills emphasizing offense, defense and special teams Lunch break Film sessions and highlight videos directed by albright College football staff • Team building activities and team offensive and defensive sessions • Competition and 7 on 7 scrimmage period Parents are encouraged to join us for the awards presentation on Thursday, June 26 at 2:30 p.m. • Small group instruction and position specific drills will give each camper a fundamental understanding of every position on the football field. All phases of the game; offense, defense, and special teams concepts will be covered by Albright College position coaches themselves. A major draw of the camp will be the opportunity to learn in small group instructional drills and activities. Athletes will also have the opportunity to compete in daily 7 on 7 passing scrimmages. • Campers will be introduced to daily strength and speed sessions, flexibility training and team building activities. For this reason it is important for campers to bring both gym shoes and football cleats to camp each day. • Campers will meet and interact with Albright College football players who exemplify our program’s philosophy — reaching your full potential — both on and off the football field. Portions of camp will feature the Albright College football season highlight tape and motivational messages by Albright staff, players and special guests. • All camp participants will receive an Albright College football camp T-shirt. Awards will be presented on our final camp day for individuals who excelled throughout the week in the areas of camp participation, the Lion hustle award, and our punt, pass and kick competition. • A full-time athletic trainer, strength coach, fitness specialist, and the entire coaching staff will be available throughout the four day camp.
