Help! Teach me how to play football
You have an Internet pen friend in an isolated part of the world. In your letters to him you have written about football. Your friend now wants to know how to play. Write him a set of simple instructions, so that he can play with his friends. Remember they have never even heard of football before your letters so avoid really difficult complications like the offside rule! Unfortunately his computer cannot download pictures so you will have to do all the explaining in words!
Remember you will need to list what you need to play football and number the instructions. He will need to know how long to play, how many play on each team and what you need to do to win a game. You need to explain all this to someone who has never seen a game of football in his life!
